We are a camping family and we go camping as much as we can. Typically we set up two or more tents depending on the weather. One or two for sleeping and one for crafting or meals. Recently I loaned my tent out and it was returned mildewed due to not being dried before packing and not returned promptly. I guess it's true . . . don't loan anything you want to get back.
First thing to know . . . like all tents it won't sleep the number of people described comfortably once you account for gear.
It worked well to set up a card table for evening play and protection from the mosquitoes. It does mean that it is a little more susceptible to wind. We use third party stakes and we didn't have any issues with a big storm that recently blew through but I wouldn't trust it in a strong wind.
Set up like a typical tent and honestly takes two people. I normally let my kids (ages 5 - 13) set up tents on their own
This has the "tub-like" floor which is on almost every tent now. Since we do camp in all weather (I draw the line at ice storms, but have gone in snow and rain) I appreciate that. We also didn't have a ton of leaking at the seams without my applying a seam sealer prior to use as I normally do.
We really liked that it was a contained space without risking rain or heavy dew getting them wet.
The pole seems to be lighter than normal and the kids woke earlier than in our other tents. Another reason for this being a socializing tent. There are a lot of screened sections which I imagine will be really nice when the weather is warmer -- it should allow for more airflow than my other smaller tents. The pockets work fine if you don't overload them.
In general this is a nice tent. Is it my absolute favorite? No. But for the price it's hard to beat.

Great tent for the price. I purchased this for a light weight tent for summer camping. This tent has exceeded my expectations. It’s perfect for two person and all ours gear. It has held up for a summer overnight hike and a fall 2 night hike with temps around 55 degrees and was a bit chilly but not bad. We did not have any moisture inside but It has not been in rain yet. It’s so far been very durable and easy to pack and set up. Does not come with a ground cover so I just cut a plastic paint tarp to size. I would recommend this tent especially if you are a beginner but need lightweight tent for your pack!

We took it on a three day backpacking trip with our eight year old baby and it fit all of us perfectly Night one we slept on a flat rock island, night two was on a more built up rocky island. Both nights the tent did great. Got lots of wind and rain and it held up fine. Sets up and breaks down easy. Packs tight. Great buy for any kind of outdoors activity
